This allows users to install different mods for Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut without needing much technical know how to do so. The installer itself comes with several mods that make the game look similar to the original Sega Dreamcast release. It also removes the boarders by default and sets the title screen to the original Dreamcast release.
When installing the mod installer, you are given a selection of different mods to also install that can make the original game similar to the original Dreamcast release:
